From documents published on the Dark Blue Sea website, it appears that Fabulous has sold one of their marquis domain names, in what one would expect to be a sizable transaction. The domain is referenced in the DBS Quaterly Update :
On the basis of October trading, gross secondary market domain name sales are expected to [...]

Godaddy.com has released the final list of domain names to be auctioned off in their new Signature Domain Auctions beginning November 6th. The list of 30 domains was compiled from submissions from the Godaddy website. Godaddy put up a page about the Signature Domain Auctions earlier this year and have been vetting submissions and [...]

SwapNames.com, a recently launched business which allows domain owners to trade domain names was sued by SnapNames.com a business which generally allows users to buy domains in after-market auctions. SwapNames.com has forfeited their domain name and agreed to conduct business under a new domain. The case and details for “SnapNames.Com, Inc. v. SwapNames, Incorporated” can [...]

NameJet.com, a new player in the expiring domain name market, launched earlier today. The first hint of this was mentioned on Jay Westerdal’s blog in a post speculating that the launch of the site would mean the end of SnapNames exclusivity to the expiring domains coming from their partner NetworkSolutions. In the expiring [...]

Michael Mann, who pioneered the domain after-market as the founder of Buydomains.com, has soft-launched his latest company, DomainMarket.com. His last domain sales company, Buydomains.com, was sold to Highland Capital and Summit Partners in 2005 for an undisclosed sum.
The current version of the site includes a list of close to 1300 domains which Mann previously [...]

There’s been a buzz on many forums about the recent Domain Focus event in London and the live auction conducted by Sedo. I wasn’t at the event, but from reports I’ve received from attendees, the event was “a good time” and “good contacts made” even after a last minute venue change that had many [...]

Seems Frank and Bonkers have pointed out something that has seemingly slipped under the radar of most domainers. By my count, the auction produced a [...]

A reader just gave me the scoop from the adult domain world. Two high-profile adult domains, Naked.com and BigTits.com apparently have new owners. The names made frequent appearances in TRAFFIC auctions but were not seen in the recent Internext live domain event. Obviously, we now know why.
These names likely didn’t pull the kind [...]
