Melbourne IT aquires Verisign DBMS

As reported earlier, the Australian registrar Melbourne IT has acquired the Verisign Digital Brand Management Services unit for $50 Million USD. Verisign’s Digital Brand Management Services manages the domains for about 2,000 corporate client such as Microsoft.

Google Sued for Adwords Fraud

Kabateck Brown Kellner, LLP, a law firm in Los Angeles, California, has filed a lawsuit claiming that Google is deceiving its customers into paying for advertisements they don’t want. Google, the law firm contends, is cheating advertisers by charging for ads that are placed on third party websites without the Adwords user being informed.
