There are reserve prices on the domains. Not sure if your comment about “no reserve bids” meant you could start at $1 or there was no reserve.

Also, I was looking at the auction, and I don’t get why they would allow TheBestPrice.com in there with a $33 million dollar starting price. RentAMovie.com with a $25 million dollar starting price and a handful of others with above $10 million dollar starting prices whose value is probably lucky to hit $XXXX.

To me that greatly takes away from the professionalism of the auction. I see those and I the auction immediately loses credibility in my book.

Friggen sucky domains… I doubt that there are 15 in the group that are worth more than $200. Many are reg fee. The only even moderately good domains have reserves that bring a smile to your face.

Coffeetogo.com starting bid 1mm, yikes.

A few nice names though but rough starting bids.

Hi,

I was just wondering if they bothered to let anyone know abut it? I see a lot of news and hear a lot of things about domains etc…everyday.

But,

I live about 25 miles or so from this “auction” and this is the 1st mention of it I have seen or heard. (9.5 hours before it starts)

I must be on the Hollywood ‘D-list’ :)

Interesting to see what happens….

Best,
Dan

I agree, I imagine the domain owners are psyched as heck thinking their domain names are going to make them rich – i just hope they don’t spend it before they get it. I’m a little puzzled by the name too – “InternetBrand” – of course maybe they own all the names, I am not interested enought o do a whois on them! Namepros.com has an auction on Friday – and the names there are much more realistic, and really just, well, better, in my opinion. Have you seen their list? My pick there is programmers.com.au.
