There’s a ton of domains in this auction that people wouldn’t bid $69 for at Namejet. These “guaranteed listings” where people pay up front let’s all this garbage into the auction.

Rick is a super negotiator, remarkable motivator, and man of integrity who commands top value for his one word 1990s premium domains.
However, Rick has an achilles heal … he is surprisingly clueless as to what is a valuable domain vs. an mediocre domain, ESPECIALLY domains in the technology sector.

I had 5 names in this auction, FIVE….. 5% of the entire 100 lots and walked off with $1k for 3 names. 2 didnt even gets bids that I’ve turned down decent offers on in the past. Jokes on me for sure. Unfortunately, I could have done better auctioning these off outside my apartment complex. Were those Auctioneers serious? Or did we have an early April fools? First guy was OK at best, second guy…… jeeeeeeeeezus f’n Christ. Holy mother of God. I was ready to pick my monitor up and toss it out the second story window.

I do however commend Rick and Howard’s efforts. They are always fair and maintain their integrity and at least are trying to do something positive for the industry, which I think backfired unfortunately. Interested to see the posts that follow up tomorrow.
