Are you saying the users (traffic) who typed in these domains are parasites ?

Domainers don’t monetize “a” site. They actually don’t do much except try and push traffic to url’s with no value except PPC arbitrage.

Domaining is a parasitic business that is removing domain names into warehouses and removing domain names from being available to those who do want to provide value.

The market will eventually price parasitic traffic accurately. ie zero.

Well written article.

This reminds me of 1995 and 1996 when techies were getting mad at the commercialization of the Net and .com buyers. They wanted to mold the Net to fit their little world they had enjoyed before the .com explosion.

Once again, it’s basically techies that are mad people are making money on the Net. They want the Net to be a forum and info. source and nothing else.

You don’t even have to read between the lines ; they are literally saying that making money is bad. They as a whole have no clue how business works, and thus the disconnect.

Jeez….. even CNN is “monetizing” a site…. so is that bad too?
