@ Frank: That's why it's great to be judgementproof.

@ Drew: Dang! I thought I was the first. Back to the drawing board.

>How much do you think microsoftclassactionlawsuit.com is worth as a domain?

Maybe you should ask the owners of the far more popular [companyname]classaction.com and [companyname]lawsuit.com versions of your idea?

Hmmm, this gave me an idea.

I'm gonna register a new class of domains: [xxx-fill in a company name]classactionslawsuit.com

In today's times, use the name of any company doing domain name auctions. Hopefully most of the companies are clean and there never will be a class action suit against them. But you never know.

The same principle holds for any company, not just domain auction houses. How much do you think microsoftclassactionlawsuit.com is worth as a domain?

One other thing. To be fair, I should have mentioned that halvarez never beat me on any of the six affected auctions. So in my case it's only about the difference in dollars, not the anguish of losing a domain where the action can't be undone. Imho, that's where the real harm lies.

That's a whole other ball of wax that will probably be factored into the class action. Some type of opportunity cost or whatever the actual legal term is.

Carry on.
