Domains for Change – An Opportunity to Lend a Helping Hand

by Chad Kettner in Categories: News

Grassroots.org is organizing a massive auction entitled “Domains for Change. The purpose of the auction is to use the money made from donated domain sales to help out thousands of charities from around the world.

The auction, which is taking place at DOMAINFest Hollywood 2008, is relying on people like you to donate their domains to help the cause. Your donations will not only aid in important charity work, but will also allow you to showcase your individual or corporate commitment to the program while also receiving a tax benefit.

The deadline for donations is Tuesday, January 4, 2008 – so make sure to get a hold of Grassroots.org by emailing domain-auction@grassroots.org as soon as you can. There are so many needs out there and this is just one small way that the members of the domain industry can give back. It’s the season of giving and there’s no better way to give than to provide for those in desperate need. By donating your domain to this auction, you’ll be helping out in amazing ways.
