DomainSponsor changes
DomainSponsor sent an email to their publishers yesterday. The key changes are:
- Direct Deposit introduced as a payment method for US dollar based bank accounts
- DomainSponsor will discontinue Paypal as a payment method. This means that all publishers with USD bank accounts will now receive their payments via direct deposit. Publishers with non-USD currency bank accounts earning under $1,000 per month will be switched to Check-Payments. The ones earning over $1,000/mth (without USD bank account) will be switched to wire transfers.
- DomainSponsor will also make sure that they have received your W8/W9 US tax forms before processing any payouts.
- There will also be changes to the referral program - for details contact your account manager.
- Landers are now being displayed in the following languages: English, Spanish, French, German and Japanese in an open beta test. For more information contact your account manager.
- New lander designs/templates have been and will continue to be introduced.

That change is not going to be very popular with a lot of non-US publishers. I’ll be moving my own domains to another provider, as I really don’t want to deal with the bank charges and higher payout thresholds.
