According to an email sent to Resellers, Tucows (AMEX:TCX, TSX:TC) has now re-branded their wholesale services to use the old OpenSRS (SRS = Shared Registrar System). The new site resides under the OpenSRS.com domain, whereas the original site used to be hosted under OpenSRS.org.

Tucows has chosen Afternic as their exclusive partner for auctioning their daily inventory of expiring domains.
When Tucows decided to end their in-house drop auction, there were questions regarding where they would send their domains. After some investigative work by DotWeekly and an official announcement on the Afternic frontpage, the answer is now clear.

According to a press release SnapNames has renewed their partnership with register.com for listing non-renewed names for auction. After being purchased by Oversee.NET SnapNames had previously lost the exclusive inventory from Network Solutions to the newly launched NameJet.
