When I checked the Thought Convergence website, it says that they are basically Tafficz and Idea.net which is a new division they are starting. This deal must be receiving a lot of outside financing if the backbone of the organization is a small domain parking company. Anyone know any more about TC?

We still have no official confirmation/denial of this rumor.

DomainTools is getting a great deal of the Google deal (integrating domain lookups on DomainTools into search results), I agree. I am sure that Google is also getting access to historical whois data, which helps them in better evaluating websites and domains.

DomainTools for only $16-$18 million? I believe that NameIntelligence is undervalued at this prize - more the better for TrafficZ, especially considering the exposure that they're getting with the Google whois deal. A bargain considering the $65 million that Oversee.net paid for Moniker. I think TrafficZ made a very wise investment and are positioning themselves at the forefront of innovation in the domain name space by having made this purchase. Please keep us updated, thanks.
