Moniker Silent Auction Wrapping Up
I’ve been watching a few auctions closing today at the Moniker / Affiliate Summit Silent Auction that is ending today. . . at this very moment in fact. It looks like they are getting some lower dollar domain names out the door and maybe a few bigger deals to be had as well. A few misc results I saw are below and the final results should be coming soon from the Monikers PR dept.
FileCabinet.com - $45000 *
TopEarner.com - $1180
BeveryHillsInsurance.com - $4480
DomainDollars.com - $1500
ChronicCervicitis.com - $500
* Seems like a steal. I venture to guess a lot of the traffic could be looking for the popular site Filecabi.net

Re: “Seems like a steal” for filecabinet.com.
This domain was in the TRAFFIC auction too, and everyone passed on it, so I don’t know how much of a “steal” it was

Andrew. . . yea you are probably right. I was just looking at comps of “product” oriented stuff. Interesting that TRAFFIC is now a benchmark of what is/isn’t a good deal. If a name gets passed at TRAFFIC, is it “scarlet-lettered” ? I can probably think of a dozen names that I’ve seen passed at multiple TRAFFIC auctions.
