NameCheap Giving Away More Free Domains With Twitter Trivia Challenge

by Chad Kettner in Categories: Up to the Minute

namecheapNameCheap is launching another trivia contest on Twitter from March 10-24 where it will give away free domain names as well as three Dell Inspiron Mini laptops worth $500 each.

Participants need to sign up for Twitter, follow NameCheap, set up a NameCheap account, and answer random trivia questions in order to win. NameCheap will ask a new question every hour on the hour from March 10-24 and the first participant to answer each question correctly as well as two other random participants will be able to register a domain name for free.

“These contests are great because they help spread the word about NameCheap,” explained Michelle Greer, the company’s Marketing Strategist. “When people know they can reach NameCheap on Twitter, it helps us follow up on customer service issues as well as answer basic questions about our offerings. To NameCheap’s CEO Rick Kirkendall, it’s a win/win for everyone.”

NameCheap’s previous Twitter contest was a huge success as the company gave away over $17,000 worth of free domain names and gained 4300 followers in Twitter in just the first month.

Visit NameCheap’s website for the official contest instructions and details. And while you’re checking Twitter out, make sure to follow DNN as well!

NameCheaps Christmas trivia was fun. I won about $150 just playing casually while I worked. I’ll be playing this round too!
