Note to those who go off and read this story. It’s full of 1/2 stories (not to mention a typo or 2). Creditcheck.com was not a single domain sale, so it can’t be the largest. It was sold with FreeCreditCheck.com as well. The deal with Business.com being sold is about the SITE and business that is for sale, not the domain alone. Reporters not familiar with the space don’t always tend to get the whole story straight.

The above link is not valid. And Red Herring’s Search is so poorly designed that you get thousands of hits and the article is not findable.
Or maybe they killed the article…?
