SitePoint Launches New Website Marketplace
SitePoint‘s website marketplace has outgrown its tab on SitePoint.com, so the company introduced Flippa.com as its new home.
Aside from a catchy new name, the Flippa.com marketplace also comes with extra features including:
- Private Sales as an alternative to Auctions.
- Customizable categorization and powerful advanced search.
- Automatic email notification of listings matching your search criteria.
- More certainty with phone number verification required for all users.
- Site ownership verification required so you can have confidence in what you’re buying.
- Greater suite of verified site statistics.
- View counters on all listings.
- Simple interface and improved user experience.
- New “Just Sold” and “Ending Soon” tabs.
- New pricing model, with listing fees starting at $19 and a 5% charge for successful sales (capped at $499).
Flippa.com is expected to build on the success of the original SitePoint website marketplace and will surely maintain its position as the #1 destination for web traders.
