Villas.com Sold for 305,000 EUR
Sedo played host to one of the largest domain name sales of the year today, as Villas.com sold for 305,000 EUR ($480,000 USD). With nine different buyers interested in the domain, there were only two who bid beyond 200,000 EUR before the final sale price was reached.
According to DNJournal.com, it was the eighth largest domain sale of 2008.

Great sale. The generic nature of this domain as well as the huge market it caters might justify the sale price.
